I'll gladly delete this if I'm off base, but I think the D3 Sweeps had some fairly significant scoring errors, as was noted in Rich's story on the front page.

Based on the video, this is the scoring I get.

This would move El Modena from 11th to 5th. Bonita goes from 12th to 6th.

Joe, you're not off base at all. More like right on the mark. I was at the finish line and reviewed the video several times before concluding the same thing. Some of the runners count on accurate times/placement for college recruitment. I will say this, Mt. Sac puts on a great meet and do enjoy all of races. But it is shame for the kids who earned medals and did not receive them this time.
