I had a kid jog last year's course with a GPS. It measured out at 2.97. Forgot to bring the GPS this year.

Did everyone enjoy the wind as much as we did? I think the 3200 runners added 10 lbs of sand to their bodies after the race was done. Really hurt a lot of runners not being able to hit the time...

I know a lot of teams go to the Mt. Sac Invitational partially to have a dry run. There would no doubt be high demand to preview that course. Are there any early season invitationals run on that...

So is there some new rule about standards for allowing practices and contests to continue in heat? I have a friend coach who said they are not allowed to practice if it gets over 99 degrees.
