How about opening heights for other divisions?
I'm more concerned with the fact that unless you go to one of the Riverside invites during the season, one of which is on the same weekend as Mt. SAC, then there's no way to see the course at all....
Like Keith, I didn't have any problems with the timing or scoring at Prelims or Finals, but it just seems a little backwards to have the least amount of technology for the CIF races than we do...
Got a sponsor? The State Meet has a corporate sponsor that covers the cost of chip timing (using 2 chips per athlete per NFHSA rules).
I happen to announce at our home football games, and during...
I found everything in my team's results to be perfect. What an improvement over the timing issues the previous couple of years.
The Mojave River League (Apple Valley, Hesperia, Oak Hills, Serrano, Sultana - and next year Burroughs of Ridgecrest) has just varsity boys and girls, and just a finals - no prelims. The meet is not...

Glen Helen Park, site of the Inland Empire Challenge. Plenty of parking. Deceptively long hill leading to the finish area. Great viewing areas. On the eastern edge of the SS, but still not as far as...
The big one for starters is 14:53 in the Boys D1/D2 Indiv. Sweeps race. Who the heck is 10th grader Kevin Quinn? Not someone who ran 14:53 that's for sure.
And in the Div.4 Boys Sweeps race...
how many of us deviated from our original lesson plans / pacing guides today.....;)
I admit, I did.

Serrano XC and T&F
Serrano loves this meet and how close it is - just 20 miles away. Glad it's cooled down some from earlier in the week.
