Lizzy Thomas ran 11:32 last week which I believe is a high school girl's record for the Gahr event (previous best Claire Kim's 11:34 in 2003). Rock on, Lizzy!

Although Sarah Baxter repeated as individual champ, her time today was substantially slower than in 2011. Weather does not appear to have been a factor. Did they instituted a different course?

I'd place my vote for Julia Stamps. She still holds the fastest time at the State Championships (16:43 in '96). If Baxter takes that down, then all hail to Queen Sarah.
