It is amazing how only the top programs that are already developing good talent have to worry about the private coaches. I have yet to see a private coach chasing down one of my athletes or parents....
Any private coach that is of value would not interfere with the athlete during the season without closely working with the school coach. And even then only supplementing some specific skills such...

There are times for top marks for girls relays that likely had a boys race that was tagged under girls as the 4x1 relays and 4x4 relays are all national records by a few teams in one race :)
