    Uniform rule clarification

This a question for Hal, but anyone who knows can chime in. My team has arm warmers that they will wear if temps are too low for our liking. They have the word Brooks printed on the side. According to NFHS rules, only the one piece top, one piece bottom, and undergarments are required to have a single logo smaller than 2 1/4". I have seen the rule interpreted two ways in other states and by the NCAA. The majority consensus is that arm warmers are like gloves and socks and are not considered part of the uniform, therefore the rules do not apply. I just want to confirm that the same is true for CA as I have seen nothing official. The logo on our a warmers is larger than 2 1/4".

You are correct in that the arm warmers are to be treated like socks for uniform purposes, and the Clerk of the Course for Saturday is aware of that. If, like really long socks, they were to go under the singlet, then they would be treated as undergarments
