Not very nice hosting by the Palos Verdes boys! After losing 5 of the 7 boys that placed 3rd at the California State Championships last season, the PV guys reloaded quickly. Very impressive results, including a victory over Saugus. Great Job Brian (it did not go unnoticed by at least 1 D3 coach!)

Brian Shapiro does an amazing job and the PV kids always exhibit a great sense of pride in preparing well each summer.
Despite graduating five, the returnees had good marks a year ago and the returnees also ran quite well in track. Very, very deep.
Yesterday's showing was encouraging.
"Cross-country is an individual sport. Succeeding in cross-country is a team sport!"
Encouraging for PV maybe. Not the rest of us.
